Among the key areas we are focusing on include Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects. In our endeavour to mitigate and reduce the negative impact that our operations have on the environment, we are embarking on a number of approaches including fleet modernisation, carbon monitoring and eventually carbon reduction and offsetting. We are also increasing our positive impact on society by increasing our CSR activities, partnering with Astral Aerial in their afforestation and adoption of electric drones — in an effort to adopt energy-efficient technologies and reduce our carbon footprint.

CORSIA — Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation

Astral Aviation has volunteered in participating in voluntary carbon emission monitoring and reporting since 2019 for all our international flights. Successfully, all our reports have been verified and this will form part of our strategic basis in reduction and/or offsetting in line with the CORSIA schedule of events.
